Along with counting/sorting the newsletters, we have been helping Mrs. Vignocchi with the Book Fair letters. The students had to pull apart all the flyers, staple a note on the front, then count/sort them for each homeroom teacher. Again, this is a great job for working on number identification, counting, checking their work, and sorting.

Worker Bees!
This school year my students have taken over the job of sorting and delivering the weekly CCIS Newsletter. Each week Mrs. Bailey or Ms. Talty copy the newsletter and deliver them to my classroom. The students then get a post-it with a teacher's name and number of students, and start counting out newsletters for that classroom. We then deliver them to peoples mailboxes. The students are working hard on number identification, counting, checking their work, and sorting.
With all the work the kids have been doing, we have been having some fun too! Today (10/10/14) we went over to CCHS to see the Middle School perform High School Musical 2. The MS students did a GREAT job!! Coal City has some very talented students! My kids loved the show and seeing their friends from the STEPS program.
